People's Choice Award
Terms & Conditions

1.1The People's Choice Award is open to nominations for South African content creators only.

1.2Nominees should be active content creators who have produced content during the eligibility period for the 2026 Content Creator Awards.

1.3The Content Creator Awards reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any nominated creator.

2.1Nominations open on the date announced by the Content Creator Awards and close at 23:59 (SAST) on 2 August 2026.

2.2Members of the public may nominate their favourite creator via the official Content Creator Awards website or through official nomination mechanics published on the Content Creator Awards’ verified social media channels.

2.3Each person may nominate one creator. Multiple nominations submitted by the same individual for the same creator will be counted as a single nomination.

2.4Nominations submitted via different platforms (including the website and social media) may be combined to determine duplicate nominations.

2.5The five creators receiving the highest number of unique public nominations will become the official finalists.

3.1The Content Creator Awards reserves the right to verify all nominations before announcing the finalists.

3.2Duplicate, fraudulent, automated, spam or manipulated nominations may be removed at the sole discretion of the Content Creator Awards.

3.3The decision of the Content Creator Awards regarding the validity of nominations is final.

4.1Finalists will be contacted by the Awards Committee to confirm their participation.

4.2Should a finalist decline participation or be found ineligible, the next highest-ranked eligible creator may be invited to take their place.

5.1Once the five finalists have been confirmed, public voting will open on the dates announced by the Content Creator Awards.

5.2The finalist receiving the highest number of valid public votes will be declared the People's Choice Award winner.

6.1By submitting a nomination, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

6.2The Content Creator Awards reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or the competition process where reasonably necessary.

6.3The decisions of the Content Creator Awards in relation to nominations, eligibility, verification and the final outcome are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
