DO YOU WANT TO BE OUR PURPLE CARPET HOST?

The Content Creator Awards (“the Awards”), in collaboration with Samsung Galaxy, is giving one aspiring content creator the opportunity to become the Purple Carpet Host at the 2026 Content Creator Awards sponsored by Samsung Galaxy.

To enter, entrants must tag Content Creator Awards in a video showing us why they would make a great Purple Carpet Host. This could include demonstrating how they would interview guests, entertain the crowd, interact with creators or bring their own personality and energy to the Purple Carpet.

To enter, you must:

• Tag us in a video demonstrating how you would host or entertain on the Purple Carpet.
• Post your entry to your public social media account.
• Ensure that your entry is publicly visible for the duration of the competition.

Only entries that comply with the above requirements will be considered.

Entrants may submit more than one entry, provided each entry complies with these Terms and Conditions.

The competition opens when announced by the Content Creator Awards and closes at midnight on Sunday, 11 October 2026.

No entries submitted after the closing time will be considered.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 via the Content Creator Awards’ social media channels and/or contacted directly.

The competition is open to South African residents who are aged 18 years or older.

Employees, directors, contractors and immediate family members of the Content Creator Awards, One-eyed Jack, Samsung Electronics South Africa, their respective agencies, sponsors and suppliers directly involved in the competition are not eligible to enter.

The Content Creator Awards reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any entrant before confirming the winner.

There will be one winner.

The winner will be selected by the Content Creator Awards Awards Committee in collaboration with Samsung Galaxy.

The winner will be selected based on the entrant who, in the judges’ opinion:

• Best resonates with the Content Creator Awards and Samsung Galaxy brands;
• Demonstrates personality, confidence and creativity;
• Shows the strongest potential to host and entertain on the Purple Carpet;
• Demonstrates an understanding of the creator community and the spirit of the Awards; and
• Delivers an engaging and entertaining entry.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.

The Content Creator Awards reserves the right not to select a winner if, in its reasonable opinion, no entry meets the required standard.

The winner will receive:

• One Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8; and
• Two tickets to the 2026 Content Creator Awards sponsored by Samsung Galaxy taking place at The Galleria, Sandton, on Saturday, 17 October 2026.

The two tickets include:

• Access to the Purple Carpet and Awards;
• A welcome drink;
• Food and refreshments before the Awards;
• Access to the official afterparty;
• Food and refreshments at the afterparty; and
• A small bar tab for drinks during the event.

The prize does not include flights, other travel costs, accommodation, transfers, parking or any other costs associated with attending the event.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is subject to availability and the applicable Samsung Galaxy terms and conditions. The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or another product.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to be available to host the Purple Carpet at the Content Creator Awards on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at The Galleria, Sandton.

The winner will be required to participate in reasonable preparation, briefing and rehearsal in advance of the event.

The Purple Carpet Host role is an opportunity to participate in the event and does not constitute an employment relationship with the Content Creator Awards, One-eyed Jack or Samsung Galaxy.

No additional hosting fee will be payable unless separately agreed in writing.

The winner is responsible for getting themselves to and from The Galleria, Sandton, and for arranging and paying for any accommodation they may require.

If the winner lives outside Gauteng and is unable or unwilling to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend the event, the Content Creator Awards reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

By entering the competition, entrants give the Content Creator Awards and Samsung Galaxy permission to repost, publish, share, edit, adapt and otherwise use their competition entry and related social media content for promotional, marketing and editorial purposes relating to the competition, the Content Creator Awards and Samsung Galaxy.

This permission is granted without further payment to the entrant.

Entrants confirm that:

• The content they submit is their own original work;
• They have the necessary rights and permissions to use any music, images, footage, trademarks or other material included in their entry;
• Their entry does not infringe the rights of any third party; and
• Their entry does not contain defamatory, unlawful, offensive or inappropriate material.

The winner agrees to reasonable photography, videography and social media coverage associated with their participation in the competition and their role as Purple Carpet Host.

The winner grants the Content Creator Awards, One-eyed Jack and Samsung Galaxy permission to use their name, image, likeness, voice and related event content for promotional and editorial purposes relating to the competition, the Awards and Samsung Galaxy, without additional compensation.

This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X or any other social media platform on which the competition may be promoted.

Entrants release the relevant social media platforms from any liability arising from their participation in the competition.

The Content Creator Awards reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose entry:

• Does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;
• Contains offensive, unlawful, defamatory or inappropriate content;
• Is fraudulent, misleading or submitted using automated or deceptive methods;
• Infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights; or
• Is otherwise considered unsuitable for association with the Content Creator Awards or Samsung Galaxy.

If a winner is subsequently found to be ineligible or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Content Creator Awards reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

The Content Creator Awards reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend, suspend or cancel the competition or any aspect of it, including the prize, should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

Any material changes will be communicated through the Content Creator Awards’ official communication channels.

Personal information collected from entrants will be used for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting the winner and managing participation in the Purple Carpet Host opportunity.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation.

By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

The Content Creator Awards’ decision in relation to the competition and selection of the winner is final.
